MK Dons v Huddersfield preview

Image: Gleeson: Cited for dangerous tackles

Team news ahead of Sarurday's League One clash between MK Dons and Huddersfield at stadium:MK.

MK Dons have injury concerns for the visit of an in-form Terriers side. Manager Karl Robinson did not name the players who could miss the game but there are known to be several nursing knocks following a bruising encounter against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. The Milton Keynes club have sent a dossier of video evidence to the Football Association in an effort to highlight what Robinson labelled 'horrific' tackles made on his players at Hillsborough. Stephen Gleeson and Darren Potter are likely to be doubts after they were involved in challenges which, Robinson claimed, threatened their careers. One player certain to be absent is Jabo Ibehre after he was sent off against the Owls. The striker will serve a one-match suspension. Huddersfield arrive at stadium:mk on a 33-game unbeaten run in League One. Meanwhile, Scotland international Gary Naysmith is hoping to return to Huddersfield's squad. The 32-year-old left-back missed the midweek win at Sheffield United due to an unspecified knock, but is back in contention as the Terriers bid to extend their unbeaten league run to 34 matches. Manager Lee Clark has a full-strength first-team squad to choose from apart from goalkeeper Alex Smithies, who remains a long-term absentee following knee surgery. Clark is not expected to make too many, if any, changes after his side turned in arguably their best display of the season in the 3-0 at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night. Striker Lee Novak's double took his goal tally for the season to seven and he can expect to lead the line again, with Jordan Rhodes pushing for a recall along with winger Gary Roberts, midfielder Anton Robinson and skipper Peter Clarke, who has been unable to force his way back into the side following a back injury.
