Dynamo Kiev's disappointing performance in the Europa League continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Maccabi Tel-Aviv in a Group E fixture in Israel on Thursday. The Ukrainian giants came into this match on the back of a 1-1 home draw with Stoke City, while their hosts were looking to bounce back from a 5-1 loss to Besiktas in Turkey in their opening match of the group stage. Dynamo went ahead at the Bloomfield Stadium after just nine minutes when Ideye Brown found the target. However, the Israeli side restored parity a minute before half time through Dor Micha as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. The result means that Dynamo are third in the group with two points from as many matches, while Maccabi are at the bottom with just one.
