Shakers remain unbeaten
High-flying Bury came from behind to earn a share of the spoils as they drew 1-1 with Chester in an entertaining and hard-fought clash.
The home side took the lead in the 37th minute when Ryan Lowe beat Ben Futcher to the ball and slipped a pass inside to Damien Mozika, who hit a first-time effort into the far corner.
Bury drew level within two minutes of the restart after Chester captain Paul Linwood needlessly gave away a penalty by bringing down Andy Morrell.
Andy Bishop made no mistake, slotting the ball home.
The visitors missed several good chances to take all three points with Bishop and Morrell both spurning opportunities, the worst coming when Elliott Bennett's pinpoint cross found Bishop unmarked but his header sailed well wide of the target.
