Derbyshire on target again

Matt Derbyshire scored again as Rotherham secured local bragging rights by beating Doncaster 2-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Derbyshire, a free transfer from Nottingham Forest, followed up goals at Tamworth and Alfreton with a 52nd-minute finish from close range to put his side in front. Winger Ryan Hall doubled the Millers' lead five minutes later with a sizzling volley from the edge of the area, but Doncaster made a game of it near the end as Rovers' new boy Curtis Main, who joined from Boro earlier in the week, calmly dinked past Scott Loach. Kieran Agard, who has been linked with a big-money move to Bristol City this week, was an unused substitute for the Millers.
