Dons academy player Chace Jacquart struck a late winner to secure his side a 2-1 win over non-league Sutton United.
The win, the Don's first in pre-season, looked to be in doubt after Sutton had equalised following Adebayo Azeez's opener for the Dons, but Jacquart poked home in the 82nd minute to give Neal Ardey's team the victory. "The pre-season games are giving these players good experience," Ardey told the club's offiical website. "But it's up to these players to show me that they are ready to make the step up."
