Draw comfort for Monaco

Lucas Ocampos enjoys his goal
Monaco set a new club-record points haul for a single Ligue 1 season after substitute Lucas Ocampos's second-half equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw against Bordeaux at Stade Louis II.
In a match that had little else riding on it with Monaco guaranteed to finish second and Bordeaux unable to do any better than seventh, it was the visitors who took the lead through Guillaume Hoarau's 15th-minute strike.
That left Monaco facing only a second home defeat of the campaign, but Ocampos' leveller just seconds after replacing Nabil Dirar in the 69th minute gave Les Rouge et Blanc a share of the spoils and left them with a club-record 80 points.
Monaco's other main aim for the day would have been to try and help departing goalkeeper Flavio Roma keep a clean sheet in his farewell appearance.
However, that was wrecked by Hoarau just a quarter-of-an-hour in as the France international got on the end of Younes Kaabouni's cross to head home.
Roma, wearing the captain's armband, did manage to prevent Bordeaux from doubling their lead in the 27th minute, though, with a save from Landry N'Guemo before the 39-year-old keeper was replaced to an ovation from the home fans in the 43rd minute, Sergio Romero the man to come on.
Monaco had barely threatened as an attacking force in the first half after Andrea Raggi had seen an early volley saved by Bordeaux keeper Cedric Carasso, but they stepped things up after the break.
Mounir Obbadi's thunderous strike at the start of the second half just cleared the crossbar before Dimitar Berbatov saw his 64th-minute effort well saved by Carasso.
It was the introduction of Ocampos that proved the key, though, with the Argentinian teenager making an immediate impact as he headed Yannick Carrasco's corner to make it 1-1.
That goal was enough to give promoted Monaco their record-points total, although the hosts were also indebted to a superb finger-tip save from Romero to keep out Nicolas Maurice-Belay's 20-yard strike.
