    Burton v Wycombe preview

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Burton Albion and Wycombe Wanderers at the Pirelli Stadium.

Burton will check on Marcus Holness ahead of Wycombe's visit to the Pirelli Stadium. Holness limped off during the 1-0 defeat at Scunthorpe on Saturday and he will be assessed. With fellow centre-half Ian Sharps (calf) also out recently, Albion boss Gary Rowett may explore the possibility of signing another defender ahead of Thursday's loan deadline. Callum McFadzean was on the bench at Scunthorpe but did not feature. The winger, signed on loan from Sheffield United last week, will hope to make his debut on Tuesday night. The likes of Dominic Knowles, Adam McGurk, Jack Dyer and David Gray are also options for Rowett. Wycombe will wait on the fitness of strikers Steven Craig and Matt McClure ahead of their trip to Burton. The pair picked up hamstring injuries in the 1-1 draw with Cheltenham last Tuesday which ruled them both out of Saturday's 2-0 loss to Rochdale, leaving boss Gareth Ainsworth stretched in the striking department. The experienced Matt Bloomfield won his fitness battle after coming off with a knee injury against Cheltenham and looks set to start again while Ainsworth could also call on the likes of Sam Togwell and Matt Spring. Saturday's loss leaves the Blues, who will be without Paris Cowan-Hall, Gary Doherty, Tommy Fletcher and Charles Dunne once more, just three points clear of the League Two relegation zone.
