Bury v Bristol Rovers preview

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Bury and Bristol Rovers at Gigg Lane.

Bury boss David Flitcroft could hand a full debut to Danny Rose when they host Bristol Rovers. The 20-year-old Barnsley loanee came off the bench to score during Saturday's 3-0 win at Northampton and could be handed a starting role as the Shakers hope to edge further away from the bottom two. Tom Soares (hamstring) recovered in time to make the bench at the weekend and could feature more prominently should Flitcroft opt for changes but midfielder Tommy Miller is definitely out with ankle and thigh problems. Hallam Hope, a loan signing from Everton, made his first start against the Cobblers and should spearhead the Shakers' attack once more having scored on his debut. Bristol Rovers' new boss Darrell Clarke has to decide whether to change a winning team for the trip to Bury. The former Salisbury manager took charge of the Pirates for the first time against Morecambe on Saturday and made the controversial decision to leave out captain Tom Parkes. Danny Woodards was given the nod in his place and put in a man of the match display while winger Ellis Harrison stepped off the bench to set up Kaid Mohamed's last-gasp winner and he will hope to be given the nod. Clarke also has 15-goal attacker John-Joe O'Toole, arguably their best player so far, available again having served a two-match ban for 10 yellow cards leaving him with plenty to ponder as his side head north.
