Walsall v MK Dons preview

Image: James Chambers: Could make return

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Walsall and MK Dons at Bescot Stadium.

James Chambers and Andy Taylor have both returned to training ahead of Walsall's home clash against MK Dons. Chambers was struggling to make last Saturday's postponed encounter against Coventry due to a hamstring problem, while fellow defender Taylor has missed the club's last two matches with a knee injury. Both were back in the training on Thursday but it remains to be seen whether they will make Dean Smith's starting XI against the Dons. Striker Michael Ngoo, a deadline-day loan signing from Liverpool, will again hope to make his debut having been denied by the weather last weekend. Manager Karl Robinson has confirmed that new signing Ryan Hall will go straight into the MK Dons squad for the trip to Walsall. Hall joined the Dons this week on a deal until the end of the season and will travel to the West Midlands, although a decision as to whether or not he will start is yet to be decided. However, one player who definitely will not be involved is striker Chris Long who has returned to Everton after picking up a thigh strain. It still remains to be seen how long the 18-year-old will be sidelined and whether or not he will return to the Sky Bet League One club.
