Ten-man Accrington staged a remarkable second-half comeback to draw 2-2 at League Two basement side Plymouth.
Troubled Argyle took the lead against the run of play from a 27th-minute penalty converted by skipper Simon Walton. Argyle's teenage striker Matt Lecointe was felled by defender Sean Hessey, with referee David Coote well placed to point to the spot. Hessey was red-carded for his foul and Walton roofed home the spot-kick. Argyle forged further head in first-half stoppage time when attacking midfielder Ladjie Soukouna fired home from 15 yards after Robbie Williams' cross was initially met by Lecointe. Stanley pulled a goal back after the break, when Kevin Long powered home a header from sub Charlie Barnett's 56th-minute free-kick. And half-time substitute Barnett's corner enabled Padraig Amond to head Stanley's merited 67th-minute equaliser.
