Former Bury loanee helps Morecambe to fifth straight win
Morecambe chalked up a fifth straight victory as a Phil Jevons double fired them to a 3-0 home win against Bury.
The on-loan Huddersfield striker also had a loan spell with Bury last season and was the star of the show, taking his tally to 11 for the season.
Bury were unbeaten in 11 League Two games and slipped out of the play-off places while the hosts climbed to 10th, within three points of the top seven.
Jevons missed a penalty as Bury went out of last year's play-off semi-finals but the 30-year-old striker made no mistake from the spot as the Shrimps went ahead on the hour mark.

Will Haining's header towards goal struck Bury left-back Tom Newey on the arm and Jevons sent Wayne Brown the wrong way from 12 yards.
The Shrimps doubled their lead eight minutes later after a huge slice of luck, with Jevons again involved.
His right-wing cross was heading for Paul Mullin until visiting defender Ben Futcher intervened to head past his own keeper, who was left flat-footed in the process.
Jevons then sealed his brace nine minutes from time when he was left unmarked at the far post to poke home Michael Twiss's pinpoint left-wing cross.
