Eto'o: Scored Cameroon's second
Cameroon kept their World Cup qualification hopes alive with a 2-1 win over Gabon in Yaounde.
The Lions, who had claimed just a single point from their opening two games to sit bottom of Group A, made it two wins over Gabon in the space of five days thanks to goals from Jean Makoun and Samuel Eto'o.
Cameroon were in charge throughout the game and took the lead thanks to a strike from Lyon midfielder Makoun, and Inter Milan striker Eto'o bagged a second shortly before the hour mark.
Hull City forward Daniel Cousin grabbed an injury-time consolation for Gabon, but it was not enough to prevent the Lions going one point ahead of them in their qualifying group.
Paul Le Guen's side now top Group A, having won their last two matches.
