Vucinic hero with sensational winner to take Old Lady beyond Milan

Mirko Vucinic scored a stunning extra-time goal to help Juventus into the Coppa Italia final with a 4-3 aggregate win over Serie A title rivals AC Milan in the semi-final second leg on Tuesday. The Montenegro striker hit an unstoppable right-foot drive past Milan keeper Marco Amelia from 30 yards in the first half of extra-time to ensure the game finished 2-2. The Turin giants led the league leaders 2-1 after the first leg and increased their advantage at the Juventus Stadium when the 37-year-old Alessandro Del Piero converted Stephan Lichtsteiner's right-wing cross in the first-half. The visitors came back into the tie six minutes into the second half when left back Djamel Mesbah equalised when he stole in ahead of some profligate defending by the home side to superbly head the ball into the far corner from Philippe Mexes' delightfully lofted pass. Vucinic missed a golden opportunity to put the match to bed when he shot into the side netting before Milan's Argentine striker Maxi Lopez scored a brilliant individual goal, turning away from two defenders on the edge of the box before smashing his shot into the far corner to force extra time. But six minutes into the first-period of extra time Vucinic struck a stunning 30-yard screamer into the top corner to give Antonio Conte's side a spot in the 20th May final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Napoli host Siena in the second leg of their tie on Wednesday night with the Partenopei chasing a 2-1 deficit.
