      Milan look to progress

Holders Milan can book their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League with victory over Benfica on Wednesday evening. The Italians only need a point in Lisbon to seal their passage into the next phase - although defeat would throw Group D wide open and resurrect Benfica's own hopes of progression. Benfica have just three points so far, but they are not yet out of contention - although defeat would all but end their hopes of remaining in Europe this season. Benifca's Spanish coach Jose Antonio Camacho is confident he can mastermind victory at The Estadio da Luz.

      Confident

"We're going out to win, and we'll do the same in the next match," said Camacho. If Camacho wants victory, then he needs to do it without midfielder Augustin Binya - who is suspended following his horror tackle on Scott Brown. Long-term injury victims Armando Petit and David Luiz are available again and should feature, whilst Cristian Rodriguez is on stand-by to replace Nuno Assis. Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti denied that his side were already looking beyond Benfica at the weekend clash with Juventus. "We're not thinking about Juventus," said Ancelotti. "We're thinking only about Benfica, because the chance is there to qualify. "Then in the first or second place we shall think about it in the last match. Now the important thing is the qualification." Ancelotti has a couple of decisions to make about his side - the main one being whether to risk Ronaldo. The Brazilian made his return from injury on Sunday at Cagliari and played the full 90 minutes, but Ancelotti may opt to rest him. Massimo Ambrosini is suspended, while Marek Jankulovski, Emerson, and Filippo Inzaghi are all injured.
