Barnsley and Derby go in search of their first league wins of the season as they lock horns at Oakwell.

Teale unavailable for Tykes, Addison set to feature for Rams

Barnsley and Derby go in search of their first Championship wins of the season as they lock horns at Oakwell. Barnsley, the only side in the division without a point, will be without on-loan midfielder Gary Teale. Teale is on a one-month loan from the Rams and unable to play against them under the terms of his deal. Fellow midfielder Hugo Colace could make his long-awaited debut for the Tykes if his international clearance comes through. Manager Simon Davey is boosted by the return of defender Marciano van Homoet and striker Iain Hume after suspension but fellow forward Maceo Rigters is set to miss out once again with a hamstring injury. Goalkeeper Heinz Muller played 83 minutes for the reserves against Rotherham on Wednesday following his cruciate knee ligament injury, but is not ready for a return to the first team just yet. Jamal Campbell-Ryce (elbow), Anderson de Silva and Michael Coulson (both knee) remain sidelined.

Jewell options

Derby boss Paul Jewell has insisted that young midfielder Miles Addison has 'every chance' of keeping his place in the team. The 19-year-old, a product of the Pride Park Academy, was handed a surprise start in the centre of midfield at Preston in the Carling Cup in midweek and impressed Jewell. Full-backs Paul Connolly and Jordan Stewart and centre-half Dean Leacock are also likely to keep their places at Oakwell after helping Derby record their first clean sheet of the season at Preston. Derby won 1-0 at Deepdale and will now be looking to climb the table and further ease the pressure on Jewell.
