Image: James Beattie: Struggling with a knock

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Accrington and Wycombe ay the Crown Ground.

Accrington will continue to assess former England striker James Beattie. Beattie, who has represented England on five occasions, is struggling with a knock which kept him out of the 1-0 defeat to Burton last Saturday. It was touch-and-go whether Beattie would feature in the midweek FA Cup replay with Oxford, which was eventually cancelled, and Stanley are hopeful the extra few days will give the forward ample time in which to recover. One player that manager Leam Richardson is definitely without is Danny Schofield. The midfielder's loan spell at the Crown Ground has expired and he has returned to parent club Rotherham. Stanley also continue to be without goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin, who could miss the rest of the season having undergone shoulder surgery. Wycombe player-manager Gareth Ainsworth will be without winger Joel Grant, who begins a three-match suspension. Grant saw red for a foul on Morecambe's Andrew Wright during the 2-2 draw between the sides last weekend. Ainsworth himself is among the list of names who could deputise in Grant's absence, along with Dennis Oli and Junior Morais. Defender Leon Johnson is a doubt, while Jo Kuffour could play some part after recovering from his ankle injury. Anthony Stewart (thigh), Danny Foster (knee) and Gary Doherty (back) are still injured, along with striker Ade Azeez (hamstring) who has returned to parent club Charlton for treatment. Matt Spring serves the second of a three-match ban, while Matt Bloomfield (groin) and Grant Basey (knee) are long-term absentees.
