Accrington v Rotherham preview

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League Two clash between Accrington Stanley and Rotherham at Crown Ground.

Stanley boss John Coleman has almost a fully-fit squad at his disposal for the midweek tie. Midfielders Charlie Barnett and Nat Taylor are both unavailable because of suspension. Barnett is serving the final game of his three-match ban following his straight red card against Barnet at the beginning of the month. Taylor, meanwhile, is still in the middle of the 35-day ban he received after being sent off for Accrington and Rossendale College last season - before he had penned professional terms. Midfielder Ian Craney could start after coming off the bench to score in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Gillingham. Alan Burton is rated doubtful because of a virus but Danny Coid has resumed training and may feature. Millers midfielder Danny Schofield is expected to return to the starting line-up for the clash. Schofield, who can operate in any number of midfield or striking positions, missed Saturday's win over Dagenham & Redbridge due to a one-game ban. Manager Andy Scott, unhappy with his side's display against Daggers on Saturday despite victory, must decide who will make way for Schofield, with Jason Taylor stepping into the side in his absence. Midfielder Mark Bradley missed out on Saturday due to a hamstring strain and remains doubtful, while goalkeeper Jamie Annerson, defender Johnny Mullins and midfielder Paul Warne (all knee) remain long-term absentees. Rotherham have lost only one of their first seven league games and lie second in the table behind leaders Morecambe on goal difference.
