Verdict

A cracking conditions stakes here and the principals look to be Cardinal Venture, Rockets 'n Rollers, and Aleutian with the vote going to the last named. The selection is unbeaten to date and won well last time out when defeating Mr Lambros he has plenty of scope for improvement and although this is more competitive he is taken to win again. Cardinal Venture rates the main danger he defeated Te Quiero in good style last time. However that was over as mile and he has never won over this trip and is opposed for that reason.Rockets @n@ Rollers is also worthy of respect he was seventh in a listed race behind Kalaman when last seen on turf and if he acts on the surface he would have definite place claims. Of the remainder Queen's Rhapsody was a good second behind Quitto last time and has only ever won over this course and distance so is another that could go well but in a tight affair for the winner we return to Aleutian.
