Emaradia is the pick over Ever Cheerful, with Barras and Lizhar others to consider in the claimer. Emaradia is a past course and distance scorer who gained the latest of her two wins at the track when beating Lizhar at the start of the month. She meets that rival on better terms, and will be more at home here as well after not really acting over Wolverhampton's six furlongs 10 days ago. Ever Cheerful was only beaten a short-head in a maiden here in January but has been campaigned at Lingfield since. He should go well and looks to be the main danger ahead of Muy Bien who actually beat him here last May and who has gone close on a number of occasions since. With Darryll Holland on board, he is not out of it by any means. Barras has yet to recapture his form and for the winner we return to Emaradia.
