    Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for the finale and the principals look to be Warden Warren, Blakeset, Yorker and Middleton Grey and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection was a fair third last time out behind Hurricane Coast doing all his best work at the finish, with the step up in trip sure to suit he could go well at a fair price. Warden Warren rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Yorker and although that rival is better off at the weights here again their will not be much between them. Blakeset is also worthy of respect but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when third behind Override. Of there remainder No Grouse is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to the top weight Middleton Grey.
