Verdict

A decent race to end an informative card at Wetherby looks set to be a truly run affair and many of the field come into the race with solid claims. Irish Distinction is sure to be popular after two comfortable wins at Chepstow and Wincanton respectively. And he may have a little more to offer in a contest of this nature. However, the on course bookmakers are not likely to be giving anything away if he impresses in the parade ring and there may be value to be had elsewhere. It is also worth bearing in mind that Tiger Talk had Tom George¿s charge five lengths adrift of him when he trailed in a well beaten third in a similar contest at Sedgefield in May. Therefore, a small stakes interest in Gardor may be the ideal way to round off the evening for a bit of sport. He does not have many miles on the clock for a five-year-old, and his effort in the first time tongue-tie at Kelso last week, was his best effort over hurdles to date. He should handle the conditions and will be hard to keep out of the frame if he repeats the effort. Mister Chisum and Reggie Buck are also respected as dangers.
