Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Fenney Spring, Kohinor and On The Outside probably have the best form of those to have raced previously but the newcomers would not need to be out of the ordinary to take a hand here and it might be worth taking a chance with the pick of Mary Reveley's two runners Clouding Over. The selection is a four-year-old half-sister to another bumper winner and looks the stable first string on jockey bookings. Oliver Sherwood has booked Tony McCoy for Kohinor, who failed to step up on his debut effort at Haydock when disappointing at Fontwell last time. Oliver's brother Simon saddles On The Outside, who showed promise on his only start in Ireland. He could be interesting as could the flat-bred Fenney Spring, who showed improved form at Fakenham last time. Mick Easterby's Wetherby third Icy Blast and Mary Reveley's Northern Shadows, a son of Rock Hopper, are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to the stablemate of the last mentioned, Clouding Over.
