Verdict

The Venetia Williams-trained Lazerito has done little wrong so far and gets the vote to win again with Maitre Levy and Laurier D'Estruval rated the main dangers. The selection made a winning start to his career in bumper company Towcester before scoring on his first attempt over hurdles at Folkestone last month when beating Taffy Dancer by a length-and-a-half. A reproduction of that effort should suffice. Martin Pipe's German import Maitre Levy makes his British debut and has to be respected as does the ex-French Laurier D'Estruval, who has his first start for Simon Sherwood. Wetherby winner Torche struggled under his penalty behind the useful Diamant Noir last time and may do so again, as may recent Chepstow scorer Bobalong. Alan King's Off Broadway and the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Odds Or Evens are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Lazerito, who is taken to maintain his unbeaten record.
