A wide open event and Eldorado is given a tentative nod ahead of Ellina and Grey Paint. Eldorado hails from an in-form yard and having raced in the mid 80's when trained in Ireland, he is considerably lower in the weights these days. Unsuccessful over 12 furlongs, he has looked as if he could get further and while this race has many entries, there is not too much quality and thus a chance that connections could get away with it. Ellina should have no problems with the trip and has stayed in excess of two miles previously. She staged a fair reappearance effort at Windsor and should have stripped fitter for the run. Grey Paint is exposed but plugged on behind Liberate in an attempt over two miles. That was a first hint at some ability so the market is examined closely for any positivity. Swindon is less exposed than most while hurdler, The Iron Giant is from a yard that are back among the winners. Irish Ballad and Red Forest can be expected to race handily while the unexpected is always expected from Bobsleigh. Eldorado has been granted some leniency from the handicapper and while he is not a firm selection, he can make his presence felt.
