        Verdict

        Meditation, Josie Marcus and All Quiet are all on the shortlist and we stick with Meditation. Ian Wood's charge has pace to burn and with others requiring to come from off the pace to mount their challenges, there is a chance that the race can be pinched from the front. Josie Marcus won a fillies event at York and is pitched into the handicap sphere. This is a tougher assignment than first appears and this may not be reflected in the price. All Quiet has been running creditably of late but has struggled off today's mark in the past. Pommes Frites hails from a yard in form and should be watched in the market. Nebraska Lady will be played late while Gaelic Princess is a course-and-distance winner that has not been in particularly great form of late. A race for the taking and Meditation has enough pace to make it count.
