In depth

Verdict

Averticus gets the confident vote in this maiden with Bush Breakfast and Indian Song rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third on his debut behind Fabuleux Millie, that form has since been franked and with improvement likely he will be hard to beat from a good draw.Bush Breakfast rates the main danger on his latest third behind Minaash but he has already given the impression he would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and he is passed over for that reason. Indian Song would have a chance on his best form but he appears to have regressed of late so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Mogok Ruby is another that has shown a modicum of ability but he is fairly exposed and with this in mind for the winner we return to Averticus.
