Sol Rojo gets the vote over Consonant, with Undeterred and Charlie Bear also worth a mention. Sol Rojo bounced back to form at Wolverhampton last time under the trainer's son, and although he beat little of note, the fact that he was able to reverse earlier form with Shannon Arms shows that he has improved. This class 5 amateur rider's event does not look up to much, and he can safely follow up. Consonant has struggled to make an impact over 10 furlongs and is worth a drop back to a mile at least, while Undeterred has to give weight away all round. A bigger danger may be Charlie Bear who was third to the useful Scrummage at Yarmouth last time and who is worth a try back up to a mile. The rest make little or no appeal, and it is Sol Rojo that is very much the one to beat.
