In depth

Verdict

We will narrow this field down to Arry Dash, Nearly A Fool and Zafarshah, with the vote going to the last-named. The selection won from a mark of 61 last May so, racing form a mark of 60 here, his chance is there for all to see. He also suggested last time that he was on the way back, shaping quite well from a poor draw. Arry Dash, who runs from a mark of 75, also holds solid claims if getting back to the level of form that saw him finish third at Newbury in May from a rating of 84. While Nearly A Fool's best winning form has come on the all-weather, he could yet feature in this race, having run well here recently behind Harry Potter. With there being questions marks of one sort or another about just about all of the others, this spins us back to Zafarshah, who gets the call.
