Verdict

This is too close to call really but Catch The Wind, who holds a clear chance on adjusted ratings, gets the call ahead of maybe Foley Millennium, Twice Upon A Time and Justalord. Ok, the selection is a three-year-old against the older horses, but he's been doing that with credit for a while now, comes here on the back of a good win and holds Melody King on that Bath form of July 22. Justalord got back to winning ways last time and should go well again, while Foley Millennium seems to find it hard to run a bad race these days and holds Dunn Deal on Haydock form earlier in the month. Justalord and Boavista are closely matched on Catterick form of July 21, which gives a further flavour of the evenly-matched nature of many of these runners. Another to consider is Twice Upon A Time, the sole course winner in the line-up, and that success came over course and distance and from a higher rating. Therefore, if he is anywhere near being fully on-song, then he holds chances. Overall, though we will side with Catch The Wind.
