Verdict

Four-year-olds have dominated this in recent years but the five-year-old Meshardal has been in fine form, though is upped a couple of grades for this off a new career-high mark. Tanzeel has been off the track for the best part of 12 months but was progressive last year and Bushcraft also has to go on the short-list - he's won four of his six career starts and likes fast ground. Barnet Fair has been running well this year but this is quite a stiff 6f and he is best over a fast-run 5f. See The Sun could bounce back to form at any time but we likes the look of SHORE STEP at the forecast odds. Very progressive last year, when he won at Ascot and Doncaster, he caught the eye on his only start this season at Newmarket and the going looks ideal. Major Jack, Barkston Ash and Kimberella should also make their presence felt.
