Verdict

Richard Fahey has won this twice in the last three years but Paddy Power has disappointed twice now and others may have more scope. GENO had Wolowitz behind when chasing home Rosina on his debut at York. He missed the break that day so that was a very respectable first effort and he should go one better today. Wilsons Ruby wasn't beaten far in a Class 2 event at Musselburgh earlier this month and will be interesting when tackling handicaps, and likewise Secret Clause. Plagiarism is a half-sister to three winners and could be useful so warrants a market check and she makes more appeal than Carlisle third El Astronaute.
