Verdict

In what promises to be a good contest, Lindens Lady is just fancied to foil the hat trick seeking Magic Music, with Marabar another live danger. Magic Music comes here on the back of a couple of hard fought victories at Leicester and Doncaster and, while a six pound penalty will not make life easy, she has recorded a decent time on both occasions and cannot be ruled out. Marabar returned to form when second at Windsor last time out and a line through the third home that day, Tapau, suggests he has a couple of pounds in hand of Magic Music so is another with obvious claims. But we just prefer the chance of Lindens Lady, who was really thrown in at the deep end behind Dazzlling Bay at York in a valuable handicap last time. She had earlier run extremely well when third to the smart Vision Of Night at Yarmouth, and on that evidence a mark of 79 looks more than reasonable here.
