In depth

Verdict

The promising Fisio Therapy is fancied to make the journey down from the north worthwhile, and is selected to get the better of the lightly-raced Three Graces and the consistent Ayun. Three Graces comes here unbeaten after making a winning debut at Goodwood, when he was well backed to land the spoils. It is hard to know just what this Peintre Celebre colt achieved there, but he certainly did the job nicely and is one to be wary of. Ayun was only just beaten in a similar race at Bath last time, and drops back to what may be her ideal trip here so she seems sure to be in the frame at least. But we'll go with Fisio Therapy for the getting out stakes. Mark Johnston's gelding was an impressive winner at Haydock on his second start, and has followed that up with a couple of useful efforts in defeat, especially his latest effort when he was very unlucky in running, finishing third in handicap company at Redcar. Fisio Therapy is almost certainly better than his current handicap mark and is taken to score a second success here.
