Verdict

Jools, Anna Walhaan and Prince Tulum are a long way clear on official ratings and the race should lie between these three, with the former just preferred. Prince Tulum was returning from a lengthy absence when down the field in a Warwick handicap last time, and while his best form has come on an all-weather surface, this is a much easier race and he cannot be ruled out entirely. Anna Walhaan also takes a drop in class here, his best effort this season when third to Passing Glance in a very good race at Epsom. He has been slightly disappointing on his last couple of runs but is sure to be thereabouts in this company. But we will side with Jools, who comes into this race in better form than his two rivals, having scored in a similar race at Folkestone last time. That was his first try in this garde, it will surely have done his confidence the world of good and the booking of Darryll Holland is an added bonus.
