In depth

Verdict

Nick's Choice is a useful performer in this weak grade and has to be respected but he may struggle to give weight away all round and preference is for A Double Ewe Bee, with Little Rort rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has a nice pull in the weights with Nick's Choice on their running at Taunton last month and, given her consistent form, Bill Turner's mare looks worth supporting. Mick Quinlan's Flash Harry is less exposed than most of these over hurdles after just three starts and has to be considered, while Hill Forts Henry is held by the selection on running at Fontwell last time. Biscar Two has dropped down the weights and has claims in this grade but is hard to back with any confidence given his recent form and of more interest may be the capable but inconsistent Little Rort. Preference though is for A Double Ewe Bee.
