Verdict

Not a great deal to go on here. Dual Mac showed some ability at a lowly level last season and was returning from a long break when fading at Newcastle last week after showing good pace. Showtime Star made some late headway over a mile at Thirsk and may do better over further so it's ABBEY VILLAGE who looks the one to be on. Richard Fahey's charge was staying on at the finish in a maiden over the track and trip a fortnight ago and doesn't look to have much more to do. Surety makes a quick reappearance after a moderate effort here on Saturday.
