Verdict

This has been won by some nice fillies in the past though it's lost some of its lustre, and Listed status, in recent years and tonights line-up looks a bit below par. Tim Easterby has always loved the race and DON'T TELL ANNIE looks another for the yard. She made a successful debut at Pontefract last month and was reported just short of her best at York a month later so she did well to get as close as she did. Cajoling didn't show much on her debut at Bath which is why she went off at 33/1 at Windsor but she belied her odds with a fine victory over Russian Heroine and can only improve. Dubai Breeze is related to several classy performers and made a promising start at Newmarket where she was always in the firing line. This stiff 5f can prove ideal and she looks a big threat. Make On Madam hasn't done much wrong and if the ground came up very testing her experience could count in her favour.
