In depth

Verdict

Basil The Great has the best form of those with racecourse experience but that's not saying much. He never threatened when third on the Fibresand in April, so one of the newcomers may well be up scoring at the first time of asking and both Red Touch and Vegas Rebel are related to winners. But MULLIONHEIR is also a half-brother to three winners including dual Polytrack scorer Megaleka and it's John Best's colt that gets the nod especially if the betting speaks in his favour.
