Verdict

Bureau's two victories have come on fast ground which he also had when runner-up at Nottingham last week. He's well treated if acting on the going. Zamra dead-heated over track and trip last month but has struggled from his new mark subsequently. Lady Yeats was suited by some give in the ground when scoring over 1m2f at Redcar and though unable to cope with a 5lb rise and step-up in trip at Chester it was no disgrace. Shirocco Passion's only start on soft ground resulted in a victory though she was well beaten over this trip at York last time. EMERAHLDZ has now won three of her last four including at this track last time where she battled on gamely in the testing conditions. She's only gone up 2lb and should be up to winning again. Stout Cortez hasn't had much experience but could be better than we've seen so far and he'll be better for his recent run at York.
