Dhhamaan is best in at the weights, has shown enough to suggest that he gets this trip and looks the one they all have to beat so gets the verdict ahead of Ogre and Locum. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of his opponents after just five career starts but the gelding disappointed when stepped up to this trip at Windsor recently so he looks best watched. Hurstpierpoint has run creditably in his last two starts, latterly in this grade at Redcar but he has a bit to find on official ratings with the selection. Mick Quinn's Redsensor has gradually dropped down the weights in handicaps and now tackles a drop in class so warrants respect but more solid claims are held by Ogre. Jim Boyle's filly has shown a consistent level of form of late and has to be respected but preference is for the well-treated Dhhamaan.
