Verdict

Despite big weights, neither Haldibari nor course winner Point Blank can be ignored here. Very Cool and Call At Midnight both disappointed last time, however, while not even A P McCoy could inspire Folie A Deux to put his best foot forward at Hereford last week, though he is only 3lb higher than when scoring over hurdles over C&D in July. Stablemate Yabora is only a plater but Mumbles Pier is capable of improving on what he's shown so far this year and CONSULT makes plenty of appeal over this trip. Martin Keighley's four-year-old has been put up 5lb since finishing second over 2m4f at Bangor but gave every impression he'd progress again over further and gets the chance to prove that here.
