    Verdict

DISTANT WATERS scored on the turf at Lingfield last month and the runner-up has since franked the form with a win. He's got a couple of pounds to find on today's terms with the less exposed three-year-olds, but looks sure to improve again. Cantor produced a better effort over a longer trip here last time and can figure, along with Fair Dinkum, who also drops back in distance. Heart Of Dixie and Ad Value have claims on their placed form in handicaps, but June's Folkestone winner Steady Gaze looks a bigger threat.
