In depth

Verdict

An interesting contest can go to Aircon who can make the most of the weight that he receives all round from Broadgate Flyer and Around Before. Aircon has shaped well this season, finishing second on each of his last two starts at Southwell, the return to form coinciding with the fact that the handicapper has started to relent at last. The step up in trip will suit Robin Dickin's charge, and although he has been hard to win with since scoring at Warwick two years ago, recent form suggests now is the time to back him. Broadgate Flyer has obvious claims on hid Perth victory in June, but in contrast to the selection, is going to struggle as he goes back up the weights, and is worth taking on. Rolfes Delight has more to do than when landing a seller at Hereford, and Around Before, a former Irish hunter chaser, has yet to prove himself since moving to Jonjo. Free To Run has topweight, Lucky Clover's mission will be just to get round, and Muharib Lady has yet to recapture her form of last season, so all in all, for the reasons stated, Aircon is worth chancing.
