Verdict

Taruskin, who has been expensive to follow so far, looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to finally open his account with the only possible danger looking to be the newcomer Sparkling Clear. The last mentioned is a nicely related daughter of Efisio but from a stable with a poor record of providing first time out two-year-old winners. Brian Meehan's Knight On the Tiles and Shinko Femme from the Willie Muir yard both look to be pretty exposed now and it will be a surprise if either is good enough to beat Taruskin. Neville Callaghan's son of Danehill Dancer has shown a similar level of form on all three starts to date and only needs to reproduce the form of his latest effort when third to Haafhd at Newmarket to collect here.
