A wide open affair gets proceedings under way with many in form rivals in opposition including Super Canyon, High Esteem and Geronimo and we will take a chance on the last named. The gelding from the Gay Kelleway yard has dropped to a handy mark goes particularly well at the track and shaped as if returning to form when sixth behind Mallard. He is best when coming off strong pace and with plenty of front runners in the line up he will not be far away. Super Canyon rates the main danger he was a fair fourth behind Parkside Pursuit last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close off this lower mark. High Esteem won well and had Geronimo back in second over course and distance last time but strictly on the weights Geronimo should come out on top here. Of the remainder Bonny Ruan and Fairgame Man are from shrewd yards and are worth noting in the market.
