Verdict

A low-key start to proceedings. Winning pointer INDY FIVE shaped with promise when fourth in a Chepstow bumper and is narrowly preferred to the unexposed Phobiaphiliac, who should also do better over hurdles. Going For Broke has started favourite in two of his four hurdles starts but he's been very disappointing since finishing fifth at Newton Abbot in October. Stafford Jo and Bestwork look best of the rest.
