In depth

Verdict

KENTUCKY STAR (NAP) was second over this sort of trip at Market Rasen before finishing third over 3m at Chepstow and Dan Skelton's Irish import should take all the beating in this. Willem has never won in this country but was second off this mark last month at Kempton and makes more appeal than an out-of-form Lightentertainment. Crookstown has tumbled down the weights over the last 12 months and would have a chance on his second at Doncaster in November, though he's yet to show he handles ground this quick.
