Verdict

PERSEID ran well at Wetherby last time without being quite good enough in the soft ground. But it was good to firm when he scored at Sedgefield in November and this return to a longer trip will also suit Sue Smith’s charge. Violoniste is upped 5lb for winning at Southwell recently but should still go well ahead of Pekanheim, third over course and distance in March. Thyne For Gold remains out of form but Benarty Hill posted a better effort at Perth last time and could figure.
