Laoch Dubh can defy top weight here, but several have to be considered as having realistic chances, including Dancewiththedevil and Charge It. The selection carries a penalty for success at Uttoxeter a week ago, when making all in a similar race. Similar tactics may be employed today on what is the only runner on the card for trainer Charlie Mann. Charge It has more than a stone less to carry round, has done well this summer at Newton Abbott and Worcester when coming from off the pace.
