Johnny Bissett can land the opener, and is selected ahead of Right Option and Let's Cast Again. David Arbuthnot's 7 year old has won a couple of bumpers in his time, and came close to breaking his duck over hurdles last time out, before finding one too good, but this is in a lower grade. He looks the consistent sort. Right Option is making his hurdling debut. He's usually prominent, and if he takes to jumping could have a new career path. Tom Scudamore looks a significant jockey booking. Let's Cast Again has had one run for the in-form Tim Vaughan yard since moving from Paul Webber's stable. Last time at Cartmel a mistake cost any chance of success, but he'll have learned from that, and can be involved here. There's not too much form for many of these in this sort of race so a market watch is advised, but we'll go with Johnny Bissett.
